1. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT The sub-contractor has to acknowledge the order within 10 working days of its receipt, confirming his acceptance regarding price, quantity, specifications, delivery schedule, payment & other terms as indicated in the order. Else it will be deemed to be acknowledged. 2. PRICES & TAXES The prices are fixed throughout the execution of the order. Taxes will be paid as applicable at the time of delivery. 3. ISSUE OF MATERIALS Before collecting materials from HAL stores, the sub-contractor has to furnish following (in case of materials provided by HAL) : Indemnity Bond in favour of HAL, covering the cost of materials, which should be valid till the completion of the order plus 60 days. Bank Guarantee (common for all orders on a sub-contractor by HAL Outsourcing Department) for an amount, which depends on the value of materials held with him (max. value of the BG is Rs. 1 Lakh). Comprehensive Insurance (Transit + Burglary + Fire) Policy in favour of HAL, covering the cost of materials, which should be valid till the completion of the order plus 60 days. Materials will be issued in batches to suit the production needs of HAL. Special tools and gauges if any required, will be supplied on the returnable basis subject to their availability. If the subcontractor fails to return them along with the supply of the last accepted item, payment will not be done. The sub-contractor has to protect materials from misuse, loss, damage and deterioration and to store at a suitably identified and marked place. Wherever inherent defects are noticed by the sub-contractor in HAL's supplied materials, the sub-contractor shall
