Ultrasonic testing of Rails and Welds by Digital USFD machines on identified routes of KIR Division of NF Railway as per Indian Railways Standard Specification for ultrasonic testing of rails, welds as issued by RDSO for one year.
Carrying out testing of rails as per Manual for Ultrasonic Testing of Rails and Welds and the latest Indian Railway Standard Specification for Ultrasonic testing of rail/weld issued by RDSO as applicable to rail testing. The testing shall cover at least the sectional area of the rail as the sketch given in Para 5.2.1.3 of Standard Specification of RDSO. The rate of testing includes cost of contractor's labour, Operator, Digital USFD machines, Tools & Plants, consumables i.e. probes, couplant, paint water etcand all other incidental charges related to testing work such as transportation, marking of the defects, submission of daily report, and backup data as per provisions of the tender documents. Rate is incusive of all taxes including GST levied by the Contral Governments, municipal corporations, local bodies or any other authorised bodies.
