Carrying out detailed Under water inspection of RR masonry/RCC piers of bridges as detailed in annexure from water level to bed level after cleaning the surface by removing all barnacles & loose materials etc. In turbid water using under water lighting arrangements without Under water videography, recording by experienced compatible divers in the presence of departmental divers / authorized staff as directed by SSE/Br. of the section. Dimensioned sketches of damages, cavity if any noticed during under water inspection to be submitted along with quantity of repairs involved. The contractor have to arrange all tools and plants like diving equipment, under water communication system with diver, generator etc. All the required experienced compatible labours should be arranged by the contractor. The rate includes transportation of men and equipment to bridge site. The contractor has to ensure the safety of his labour. Four copies of visual inspection report with sketches if necessary along with PDF copy to be submitted after completion of work including all men, materials, tools and plants etc. complete and as directed by the engineer in charge. Payment is made for each pier inspected.
