BOQ Item Description: Refer design drawing 1.8S and 1.8G and SOQ item No3 of tender document
Providing and fixing illuminated signs including all operations from fabrication to installation all complete as per drawings technical specifications signage schedule and to the satisfaction of the Engineer in Charge. All exterior signs should be manufatured considering harsh outdoor conditions weatherproofing techniques and materials shall be used.
Letter face
Providing and fixing White translucent 040 5mm thick acrylic. complete face shall be covered with translucent vinyl film to match Blue Pantone 541C.
Back Channel
The channel letters would be made out of 3 mm thick aluminium to receive the front acrylic and house the controller and LEDs with keeping face of the letters 10mm recessed as per drawing. All the letters would be made in profile to achieve true right angle. All mounting would be done in true plumb and using templet keeping the alignment of the letters in one level.
Spacer
Recommended for use for mounting the larger text on the glazing frame.
Lighting
All internal illumination shall be using Power LED Lights from Osram or equivalent with electronic controllers having even spread and overlaps to avoid banding and dark spots and adhering to the LUX levels mentioned in the performance specification.Cost to include all internal connections and Wiring terminating and connecting the incoming cable laid by Airport contractor at the site.
Accessories Providing and fixing all accessories such as thimbles end connectors nut inserts screws rivets bolts washers nuts etc. complete as per drawing.
