Tender For Replacement Of Existing Open Type Primer And Paint Booths With Closed Type Booths In Cylinder Pressure Testing Shed At Uran Lpg Terminal
Uran Lpg Terminal Has A Well-Equipped Facility For Pressure Testing Of Lpg Cylinders. These Cylinders Include The Ones Segregated In Bottling Sheds On Account Of Them Reaching/Passed Their Test Due Date. When These Cylinders Enter The Shed, They Are Depressurized, Their Sc Valves Removed, Hydro-Tested At Cylinder Test Pressure Of 1.66 Mpa And If Found Satisfactory, Are Applied Primer And Paint To Develop A Minimum Coat Thickness Of 80 Microns, As Per The Required Norms. The Current Daily Generation Of Dpt Cylinders Is Approximately 2000 Numbers, Which Comes Out To Be 125 Cylinders/Hour And It Is Forecasted To Rise In The Coming Years. The Capacity Of Existing Paint And Primer Booths Is Less Than 125 Cyls/Hour And Needs To Be Replaced In Order To Meet The Future Demands. In Addition, The Booths Are Damaged And Has Led To Recurring Maintenance Costs. Viewing Above; It Is Proposed Float An E-Tender For The Replacement Of Paint And Primer Booths In Pressure Testing Shed At Uran Lpg Terminal, Which Includes Supply As Well As Installation Of The New Closed-Type Booths From The Vendor.
