Stiffener plates shall be as per IS:3885 Part- 2, Grade- 5 in annealed condition with hardness between 190-245 BHN. 2. 50% of stiffener plates shal l have holes with Pitch=100+- 0.5mm and distance from edge = 25+-1mm, while remaining 50% stiff ener plates shall have holes with Pitch=90+-0.5mm and distance from edge=30+-01mm. 3.
