Stiffener plates shall be as per IS:3885 Part-2, Grade -5 in annealed condition with hardness between 190-245 BHN. 2. 50% of stiffener plates shall have holes w ith Pitch=100+-0.5mm and distance from edge = 25+-1mm, while remaining 50% stiffener plates shall ha ve holes with Pitch=90+-0.5mm and distance from edge=30+-01mm. 3.
