Stationary Storage Type Electric Water Heater (Geyser) of 25 Litres Capacity Conforming to IS:2082: 2018, amendment no. 1 and with latest amendments/revisions with ISI mark, BEE star ratin g 5, Closed type as per clause 3.102 of IS 302-2-21: 2018 or latest, with Stainless steel panel for Vertic al wall mounting of Water Heater. Material of Inner Container & Body of Water Tank shall be of Stainles s Steel of grades 304, 304L, 316, 316L as per IS 1570 (Part 5):1985 (Reaffirmed 2018) or latest. Insulati on in-between Outer SS Body & inner SS Container shall be of Fire retardant type. Finish as per clause 21.1 of IS 2082. Anode Rod (also called Sacrificial rod) shall be provided in addition to Heater element. Water Heater shall be of Class I type as per IS 302-2-21 clause 6.1 with double insulation or reinforced i nsulation, Water Heater shall be for Indoor Installation with at least IP-X1. Pressure relief device shall b e provided in the Water Heater. Instruction for operation of Pressure Relief Device as per clause 7.12 (b ) of IS 302-2-21 shall be provided with the material as well as marked on Water Heater such that it is vi sible in normal use. Leakage current for Water Heater shall not exceed 0.21 mA per KW or 1.5 mA whic hever is lesser.
