Southern Railway: USFD testing of 52 kg rails in CC+8+2t routes and designated 25 ton axle load routes by PAUT technology using RDSO approved Equipment in Salem, Palakkad and Tiruchchirappalli divisions for a period of two years.
Carrying out Phased Array Ultrasonic testing of 52 kg rails in CC+8+2t routes and designated 25 ton axle load routes under traï¬ƒc conditions as per provisions of RDSO Letter No. CT/USFD/Phased Array SRT dated 12.09.2024 & 22.10.2024 and USFD Manual 2022 with latest correction slips & related instructions, duly marking defects, submission of daily reports and storing back-up data, as speciï¬ed & directed. The rates are inclusive of Rail surface preparation for PAUT testing, contractor's men, materials & machines complete unless otherwise speciï¬ed and directed. (Tentative scope of work for each division is attached) Note: 1.Testing frequency as per mentioned in USFD Manual 2022 with latest correction slips. 2. One track kilometer includes both LH and RH rails.
