Item Title: Soil Investigation
Item Description: Sub Soil Investigation as per IS 1892-1979 by standard Penetration test as per IS-2131:1981(Reaffirmed 2002) including Laboratory Testing of Soil Sample for its all characteristics as per relevant IS.Bore log chart showing depth of soil strata, SBC based on shear and settlement criteria complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- (a) SPT Test shall be carried out for every change in stratum or at intervals not more than 0.75m whichever is less.Depth of investigation shall be 10 mtr. (b) Grain size distribution and analysis of soil. (c) Soil characteristics. (d) Value of cohesion and angle of internal friction. (e) Recommendation of SBC at different dept of foundation 1.2m, 1.5m, 1.8m, 2.0m and 2.5m for each building and /or most suitable strata depth for resting foundation as per type of building/Soil investigation details. (f) SBC and its calculation based on N value, shear strength and settlement criteria SBC to be given for following Size 1.5m x 1.5m, 1.5m x 2.0m, 1.5m x 2.5m, 2.0m x 2.0m, 2.0m x 2.5m, 2.0m x 3.0m. (g) Depth of water table including approximate details for seasonal variations. (h) Depth of expansive soil and properties, if any and suitable recommendation for foundation. (j) Recommendation for back fills under floors incl plinth protection. (k) Details of soil profile and bore logs and RL of ground level/founding level ref with reference to BM mentioned in report. (l) Soil density at OMC earth altered below 300mm of existing ground. Note: - Soil investigation report for each hole tested and duly compiling summary of SBC recommended for various buildings in all respect shall be submitted in four folders.
