Maintenance of water supply distribution system in SRR including Lower colony, Upper colony, Shoranur Station and all other service buildings and office buildings, etc., for a period of 24 - months duly supply of 3 - Nos of semi skilled labours daily in 3 shifts with required tools & plants etc., complete and as directed by the Engineer in charge. The maintenance of water distribution system consists of the following works; a) Loading into the GLRs & OHTs and maintaining the minimum level for carriage watering / supply of Service buildings / Staff quarters. b) Loading into the GLRs & OHTs and maintaining the minimum level for carriage watering / supply of Service buildings / Staff quarters. c) Chlorinating the filtered water through addition of bleaching powder at required interval with desired quantity of chlorine. d) Back washing of pressure filter through valave operations. e) Attending the required minor repair of plumbing works such as pipe line leakage, valve repairs except the new replacement. f) Keeping level guage in working condition and clearing surroundings of valve chamber area at regular intervals. g) Taking daily reading of water meters fixed at various locations in colonies, offices & station area."
