Description : Soft Blanket of superior quality with four sides satin piping not less than 4 stitches per cm. Dimensions -215 cm x 120 cm, Fibre content - 60% wool, 15% nylon, balance others, Weight g/m2 - 450 gsm, Breaking load (min) on 15 cm X 20 cm (strip) - (a) Warpway- 110kgf (b) Weftway - 85kgf, Ends per inch - 25 (Min.), Picks per inch - 20(min.), Weave- 2/2 twill. Shade - Dark Navy Blue.Marking particulars on Blanket - (I) A good quality cloth label ( size - 7 cm x 5 cm ) bearing the following printed information should be stitched in one corner of one side of the blanket, (a) EASTERN RAILWAY, (b) Year and month of manufacturing, (c) Manufacturer's name and brand.The colour should be fast and will not come out when wet. (II) Each blanket should have "IR" embroidery marking at one corner as per Drg No - CDO-Drg-5-05 (III) A good quality cloth colour white, size- 160 mm X 90 mm to be stitched in any corner for maintaining the record of washing as per CME/ER Office's Drg No - KKK/C- 1/2018 Dated 22/03/18. The blankets shall be properly washed and shall be free from grease, soap, filling or any other admixture which would give fictitious mass or firmness. The blanket shall be milled and given a raised finish. For sampling, testing and other details as per IS: 894 of 1980 (latest revision)
