BOQ Item Description: The demonstration system should consist of a sectioned diesel engine for a commercial truck. The engine should be cut at different locations to display its components like piston, cylinder, crank shaft, cam shaft etc. Auxiliary systems like intake & exhaust manifolds, fuel supply system, starter, alternator, radiator, air cleaner etc. are also cut to show their construction details. All the engine assemblies should be repainted using automotive grade paints & color coded so that students can understand the constructions details. The engine should be able to run at low speed (12-15 RPM) using a geared motor connected to flywheel. During the operation, the engine firing order should be displayed using 6 LED indicators. The engine assembly along with the drive system should be mounted on a welded steel frame, fitted with castor wheels for mobility.
