BOQ Item Description: Type-RF. Communication between RF Vehicle Tag and Nozzle Reader-IEC BY ISO Compliant BY LF. Communication between Nozzle Reader and RFID Controller-IEC BY ISO Compliant BY IEEE. Security-Once mounted on the Nozzle and activated, it should be deactivated, in case of any attempt to remove the same. Mutual authentication between the Reader and the Vehicle Nano pass to prevent unauthorized reading. It should be physically protected from any removal. Any attempt of removal of Nozzle Reader should be logged in FCC. Installation-Should be able to securely mount on all commonly available DU nozzles. Due to operational considerations, non-standard nozzles e.g, long spout are also available in the field. Thus, Nozzle Reader should be able to fit on any nozzle available. On the DU. PESO Approval-Nozzle Reader should be approved by PESO for use in Zone 0 of Gas Group IIB hazardous area under Petroleum Rules, 2002. PESO approval should clearly indicate approval of Nozzle Reader Model in conjunction with proposed RF Vehicle Tag Model. Operating Voltage-Nozzle Reader should have advanced power management functions to provide enhanced battery life. Nozzle Reader should have visual indication to indicate wake-up and successful reading of vehicle Nano pass. Operating Temperature- -10C to +60C. IP Rating-IP67. Remote Diagnostics-Should be accessed over web for diagnostics, trouble shooting and upgrade task e.g, software upgrade, battery check, communication check etc.
