Tender's Details

Cut and remove the existing pipe with gate valve installed on the main water cooling line near the draw furnace charging power pack. Install the gate valve at a new location, positioned 600mm upstream from the existing position, using suitable ï¬‚anges and ï¬ttings. Fit an elbow to the newly installed gate valve ï¬tted and reroute the pipe accordingly. Install strainers in the main line with a standby arrangement, including necessary supports, ï¬‚anges, ï¬ttings and connecting pipes. Provide butterï¬‚y valves at both inlet and outlet of each strainer (main and stand by). Note: Butter ï¬‚y valves shall be arranged by the contractor. Extend and connect the outlet pipes from both main and standby strainers to the existing water cooling pipeline. Check the entire piping system for water leakage after installation. Any observed leaks shall be arrested by the contractor.
