Repairing & Rehabilitation of defective Radiators including cleaning, attending the leakage, changing the defective parts etc. as per CLW specification No. CLW/ES/0-2/C & drgs. The details work are as under : (i)Dismantling of radiator with opening of top cover & bottom covers, removing of all old tubes, cleaning of all holes & both header plates and removing of gasket & dust from header plates. (ii)Provision of new gasket as per required size. (iii)Gasket of heat resistance provided in between each header & tube plates shall be changed. (iv)Flange connection of main oil pipes & flange of oil expansion tanks shall be checked & if found leakage then it shall be welded. (v)Replacement of all defective brass/ copper tubes along with fins and connected to top & bottom header and other parts by brazing and leakage shall be arrested. (vi)Surface plating of both header plates. (vii)Assembling of top and bottom cover with new hardwares i.e. nuts and bolts etc. and testing. (viii)The frame & structures shall be suitably painted as per standard I.S. colour code No. 1650 (Light Green) or battle-ship grey. (ix)Finishing, painting & supply of quality material shall be ensured as per relevant Standard specification & drawing. (x)Each radiator shall be marked (name plate) at appropriate places indicating firm's name (code), month and year of reconditioning.
