Providing device at the interface of superstructures or superstructures and substructure, along with installation and validation, to mitigate the increased longitudinal force on the bridge 163, 440 & 442, resulting due to higher tractive efforts exerted by New generation locomotives in Mumbai Division of Western Railway".
Supplying at site 16 Nos. Hydraulic shock transmission device of capacity 60Tonnes or more of make Maurer or similar at the interface of super and substructure to withstand the increased longitudinal force upto 120 Tonnes at Rail level on the Br Nos 163, 440, 442 of BCT division. These bridges are fit to carry 47.6 tons of longitudinal forces and therefore the device should be capable of mitigating differential longitudinal force. The contractor will design, procure and install the equipment at site with necessary instrumentation to validate the design for future reference.
