Preparation and submission Geotechnical Investigation works reports for various construction works (For LHS, Bridges, Buildings, FOB etc works) at HWH Division for conducting 01 no. Borehole upto 40.0 m depth below Ground top at each site or upto the depth of refusal each which ever occurs ï¬rst through over burden soil (alluvial deposit) except rock of any kind or any similar hard stratum for proposed construction of diï¬€erent structures at various locations under Howrah Division, Easten Railway. Conducting SPT at regularintervals, collection of samples both disturbed and undisturbed (from cohesive deposit only to the extent possible and applicable) at required intervals, conducting relevant laboratory tests on selected and representative samples. Routine Laboratory Tests shall include L.L& P.L., Grain/Particle Size Analysis, NMC/Water Content, Bulk Density, Speciï¬c Gravity, Unconï¬ned Compression Strength(UCS), Triaxial compression for Determination of shear strength parameters of a specimen tested in U-Utriaxial compression, Consolidation (only Cc parameters) and Direct Shear Test tothe extent relevant and applicable. The job includes compilation of test result sand submission of report, containing test results of GTI work with recommended Bearing Capacity/Load carrying Capacity, in triplicate. The job also includes mobilization of machineries and manpower at site and demobilization of the same upon completion of the fieldwork
