Polyester Staple fibre pillow for 2nd & 3rd AC coaches confirming to the specification des cribed below: (I) Size: 60 cms. x 36 cms. x 12 cms. (plus/minus 2% (ii) Fitting material 100% white virgi n Hollow Siliconized polyester Fibre of 7 Denier (minimum) or Hollow Siliconized conjugated polyester fi bre of 7 Denier (minimum) in the form of sheets. Identification of Fibre hollowness will be as per IS: :66 7/1981 complying the following parameters. (iii) Weight of Pillow: 450 gms.(plus/minus 5%), (iv) Pillow s hould be surrounded by white virgin hollow fibre bonded sheet of 20 mm thickness (minimum), (v) cove ring cloth white should be plain weave containing 60-70% polyester yarn & balance cotton. Cloth weigh t should be 100g/m2 (minimum), (vi) pillow should be resistant to normal wash.(vii) Monogram: At the c orner of the pillow the woven cloth monogram of size 7 cms x 5 cms. is to be stitched containing (a) SO UTH EASTERN RAILWAY in Hindi and English. (b) Year & Month of Manufacturing. (c) Name of manufact urer and brand, (d) AC Service.(viii) The firm shall disclose the source of Virgin Hollow Fibre and submit certificate from manufacturer of virgin fibre with WTC for the virgin fibre at the time of sample submissi on and at time of inspection and supply to the inspecting agency. Firm should also submit undertaking that only virgin fibre is being used for manufacturing of Polyester Staple Fibre Pillow.
