Polyester Staple Fibre Pillow for 1 st AC coaches confirming to the specification described below: i) Size: 67 cms. X 45 cms. X 14 cms. (plus/minus 2%) ii) Filling material 100% White Virgin Hollow Siliconized Polyester Fibre of 7 Denier (Minimum) or Hollow Siliconized conjugated polyester fibre of 7 Denier (Minimum) in the form of sheets. Identification of Fibre hollowness will be as per IS:667 / 1981complying the following parameters: iii) Weight of pillow: 650 gms. (plus/minus 5%), iv) Pillow should be surrounded by white virgin hollow fibre bonded sheet of 20 mm thickness (minimum) v) Covering cloth white should be plain weave containing 60-70 % Polyester Yarn and balance Cotton, cloth weight should be 100 g/m2 (minimum) vi) Pillow should be resistant to normal wash, vii) Monogram : At the corner of the pillow the woven cloth monogram of size 7 cms. X 5 cms. is to be stitched containing (a) %u201CSOUTH EASTERN RAILWAY%u201D in Hindi and English, (b) Year and month of manufacturing, (c) Name of the manufacturer and brand, (d) %u201CAC Service%u201D. viii) The firm shall disclose the source of Virgin Hollow Fibre and submit certificate from manufacturer of virgin fibre with WTC for the virgin fibre at the time of sample submission and at time of inspection and supply to the inspecting agency. Firm should also submit undertaking that only virgin fibre is being used for manufacturing of Polyester Staple Fibre Pillow. as per Drg.No. -
