Polyester Staple Fibre Pillow for 1 st AC coaches confirming to the specification describe d below: i) Size: 67 cms. X 45 cms. X 14 cms. (plus/ minus 2 percent ) ii) Filling material 100% White V irgin Hollow Siliconized Polyester Fibre of 7 Denier (Minimum) or Hollow Siliconized conjugated polyest er fibre of 7 Denier (Minimum) in the form of sheets. Identification of Fibre hollowness will be as per IS: 667/ 1981complying the following parameters: iii) Weight of pillow: 650 gms. (plus/minus 5%), iv) Pillo w sh ould be surrounded by white virgin hollow fibre bonded sheet of 20 mm thickness (minimum) v) Covering cloth white should be plain weave containing 60-70 % Polyester Yarn and balance Cotton, clo th weight should be 100 g/m2 (minimum) vi) Pillow should be resistant to normal wash, vii) Monogram : At the corner of the pillow the woven cloth monogram of size 7 cms. X 5 cms. is to be stitched contai ning (a)SOUTH EASTERN RAILWAY in Hindi and English, (b) Year and month of manufacturing, (c) Nam e of the manufacturer and brand, (d) AC Service. viii) The firm shall disclose the source of Virgin Hollo w Fibre and submit certificate from manufacturer of virgin fibre with WTC for the virgin fibre at the tim e of sample submission and at time of inspection and supply to the inspecting agency. Firm should als o submit undertaking that only virgin fibre is being used for manufacturing of Polyester Staple Fibre Pil low [ Warranty Period: 30 Months after the date of delivery ] ]
