Paper masking tape. Size of tape :48mm x 50metres, Tape thickness Min.: 0.11 mm (as per ASTM test method: D-3652), Tensile strength : Min. 350N/100mm width(as per ASTM test method: D-3759), Adhesion to steel : 24 to 30 N/100 mm width (as per ASTM test method: D-3330), Elongation at break: 8-10% (as per ASTM test method: D-3759), Tape structure: Natural coloured crape paper, Ad hesive : Rubber adhesive with instant adhesion, Temperature use range : The adhesive should easily s ustain application temperatures (of ambient/substrate) of 0 degrees to 66 degrees without any deterior ation of properties. Functional properties:Shelf life of tape should be minimum one year from the date of manufacturing. The tape is being used for masking of painted surface for painting of multi-color. Tap e should have sharp and straight edges throughout its length. The width of tape should be uniform thro ughout its length. After damasking of the coach, separating line of two colors shades should be straight and sharp throughout the length of thecoach. Tape should not leave adhesive marks on dry painted sur face thus ensuring clean removal after damasking. Tape should be treated in such a way that paint sho uld not bleed through tape film on the painted surface which has been masked. Tape should not tear du ring unwind. The tape should be easily tear without stretching or pulling.
