ETI/PSI/14/(1/86 ) with A & C slip No. 1 (4/87) or latest, special requirement in pole Operating Rod 25 KV (Pole made of Cast resin or resin-bonded glass fibre, coated with three coats of poly-urethane, After the award of the PO, the fi rm must ensure approval of one sample of the discharge rod from the consignee before RITES inspection. T he galvanised steel tube (threaded) used for coupling of pieces of discharge rod should be at least 20 cm o r more as required to prevent swaying of pole assembly during erection at site.
