ETI/PSI/14/(1/86 ) with A & C slip No. 1 (4/87) or latest, special requirement in pole Operating Rod 25 KV (Pole made of Cast resin or resin-bonded glass fibre, coated with three coats of poly-urethane, After the award of the PO, the fir m must ensure approval of one sample of the discharge rod from the consignee before RITES inspection. Th e galvanised steel tube (threaded) used for coupling of pieces of discharge rod should be at least 20 cm or more as required to prevent swaying of pole assembly during erection at site.
