BOQ Item Description: The observation post will be 6 ft wide from front and 8 ft wide from sides with a height of 8 ft The front and sides will be covered with protection layer of MS plate upto a ht of 4 ponit 5 ft The outer layer to be of plate of thickness 8mm The MS Plate of 10mm thickness of protection layer will be made modular by dividing it in two pieces to enable easy lifting upto the observation post The pieces of MS Plates will be fitted on observation post by means of nuts and bolts and T Sections fabricated from MS angle of size 65 x 65 x 6mm Above the protection layer of 4 point 5 ft there will be an air gap of 1 point 5 ft on all sides for observation and firing Above the air gap a layer of MS plate 2mm thick of height 1 ft will be provided fixed on MS angle 65 x65x6mm suitably drilled with help of nut and bolts On top of 1 ft MS Plate there will be a wire mesh of 1 ft all round the observation post for ventilation and also at Gable end along with truss portion The wire mesh will be prep with 2mm thick MS wire and mesh size 25 x 25mm 02 x Trusses made of RHS 66x33x2 point 9mm Purlin RHS 66x33x2 point 9mm 4 Nos 8 ft long fitted with suitable self tapping screws The flooring of observation post shall consist of 4 mm thick chequered steel plate 02 Nos of size 6 ft x 4 ft supported on ISA 40 x 40 x 6mm grid frame The post will have Puf panel roof 40 mm thick with all fastening arrangements Post will have 40 mm puf Panel on all four wall inside for thermal Insulation Post will have 01x Nos Door of 1 point 8m x point 9 m for entrance into Post from Stairs Side on Rear wall observation post is as follows
