Installation of lightening arrestor Class A device on the top of the building. the devices shall be installed at the height of about 3 mts from the roof of building using a G.I. pipe. The device shall be connected to the earth pit using the copper tape 25mmx1.5mm or better the copper tape shall be run firmly along the side of the mast with the help of the spacers. It shall also be ensured that this down conductor shall not touch the building through out. The down conductor should be connected to the separate earth electrode as per Railway Board guidelines using exothermic welding. A counter shall be installed at an appropriate place to count the no of occurrences.
