Name of work: i) Development of Goods circulating area, Goods office, High Mast Tower, Merchant room/Labour room, Goods office/Modular furniture at Bhairabi (BHRB) under the jurisdiction of Sr.DEN/II/LMG, (Electrical portion), ii) Provision of Goods circulating area, green belt, Merchant room, Goods office & Labour shed drinking water facility at MNBD under the jurisdiction of Sr. DEN/II/LMG, (Electric Portion). iii) Construction of goods circulating area, approach road, merchant room & goods office, labour shed with drinking water facilities CCTV monitoring at BXG (Electric portion), iv) Construction of Goods office, Merchant room, Labour shed with drinking water facility, CCTV monitoring and furniture's at BHZ goods. Under the jurisdiction of Sr. DEN/II/LMG (Electric Portion).
Supply and erection of earthing by made of B class GI pipe of 3000 mm length, 50 mm diameter & 3.6 mm thickness. The GI Strip ( should be welded with the earth pipe. The pipe is provided with a tapered casing at the lower end in order to facilitate the driving. A funnel with perforated plate to be provided at the top of the pipe for pouring water during dry season to have an effective earth value.The connecting conductor from earth electrode to the distribution panel board should not be thinner than 8 SWG GI wire to carry the fault current. The earth fill shall be of homogeneous layer of common earth soil. Where soil restivity is high, earth restivity enhancing material may be used, Bentonite or similar earth enhancing material may be used in rocky soil. Earth box to be precasted RCC and The values of earth resistance measured should be painted on the Earth pit cover/lid along with the date of measurement. As per Drg.
