BOQ Item Description: Material and labour for earthing with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60 into 60cm into 6mm thick buried directly in ground earth pit not less than 2 point 25 meter below normal ground level with top edge of earth plate not les than 1 point 5 meter below normal ground level connected to main earth lead of GI wire 4 point 0 mm dia by means of bolts nuts check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate no 3 of MES shecdule part one 1991 GI earth lead protected by providing GI pipe 20mm dia light grade and connected to earth test point with and including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil returning filling disposal of surplus soil upto 50meter filling with mixture of charcoal and common salt upto 15cm above top edge of earth plate PCC 1 2 4 watering arrangement with GI funnel 20mm dia GI light grade watering pipe earth test
