Parcel Cargo Express Train shall be leased out for a period of 6(Six) years. There shall would be no escalation in first three years in lumpsum leased freight. An annual escalation of lumpsum leased freight at the rate of 10% per annum on the lumpsum leased freight of immediate preceding year shall be applicable from the fourth year onwards . Note. The bidder to note that the advertised value of the tender is only for 15 parcel van plus 1 brake van of LHB rake for 6 months. However, the actual cost will increase since: 1) After 1st 6 months, the composition of PCET will be 20 parcel van plus 1 brake van, thus increasing the lumpsum leased freight proportionally. 2) From 4th year onwards, 10% escalation on lumpsum leased freight for the preceding year will b e applicable. 3) Also, Development charge @ 2% and GST as applicable have not been included in the advertised value and these will be levied separately. Actual advertised value of contract calculated on 144 round trips (2 x 12 x 6 = 144) is Rs. 42, 26, 81, 112/- . The bidder should quote his offer without adding Development Charge and GST and any other taxes/charges for one round trip only from Agartala to Sanehwal and back to Agartala.
