BOQ Item Description: JUNCTION BOXES FOR LIGHTING FIXTURES (WEATHER PROOF) Supply of 32A, 4-way, 125 mm (minimum) internal dimensions junction boxes with terminals block with additional earthing terminals and end clamps etc. including 4 Nos cable glands / Plug, lugs with PVC shrouds suitable for 3x2.5 sq. mm (cu.) XLPE, FRLS cable, 240V, Ph-N, Industrial type, Weatherproof, IP 65 suitable for Wall / Column / Structure mounting. JBs shall confirm to attached specification/data sheet. Junction Boxes shall be suitable for cable sizes tentatively as indicated below and shall be supplied along with double compression, Ni plated brass cable glands, lugs and plugs. However, exact cable sizes shall be indicated during drawing approval only.
Please note that all cables shall be Aluminium conductor (10 sqmm and above) / Copper conductor (6 sqmm and below), XLPE insulated, extruded PVC inner and outer sheathed, FRLS, Armoured cables.
