ISI-marked Electrical Insulating Mats, conforming to Class B and Category III, shall be manufactured from high-grade elastomeric compounds. These mats must feature anti-skid textured surfaces on both sides to provide adequate grip and ensure operator safety and stability during work on electrical equipment. They shall be resistant to acids, alkalis, oils, and low temperatures, making them suitable for harsh operating environments.

They shall be resistant to acids, alkalis, oils, and low temperatures, making them suitable for harsh operating environments. The insulating mats ar e intended for use as floor coverings to protect workers operating on AC and DC electrical installations with system voltages up to 11 kV AC and 240 V DC. Each mat shall have a uniform thickness of 3 mm, a standard width of 1 meter, and be supplied in roll form. They must possess a minimum dielectric strength of 65 kV and a maximum leakage current not exceeding 10 microamperes. The material shall be flame retardant and exhibit high resistance to moisture, wate r, and transformer oil, ensuring long-term durability. Mats shall be supplied in standard black color as per IS 15652:2006 or the latest revision. Each mat must be accompanied by a valid manufacturer?s test certificate and a NABL-accredited laboratory test report covering all specified parameters.
