Specification: a] It shall be made of high quality virgin HDPE material, the design shall be dome shaped as per IS 2925. The shell shall design in such a manner to take on clip on accessories viz. Ear defenders, face shield and welding visor etc. b] The mass of helmet shall be 400 gm plus /minus 10 percent.c] Helmet should have ratchet [knob] type headband, shall not be less than 30mm in width and so designed that adjustment to any size may be readily made and should be fitted with anti-concussion tapes secured at least at 6 to 8 anchoring points, forming a cradle. d] Helmet shall be tested and approved by BIS 2925-1984 or latest and firm shall provide performance test certificate as per relevant IS code from NABL approved Laboratory e] The logo of Team Carriage KWP-NWR will be provided at the time of supply order.
