Expression of Interest are invited for India Focused Market Landscape on a) Regtech Solutions for the Financial Services Providers, and B) Suptech Solutions for Regulators and Provide Key Recommendations for Their Growth and Adoption Assignment Title: 1275362 - India focused market landscape on a) RegTech solutions for the financial services providers, and b) SupTech solutions for Regulators and provide key recommendations for their growth and adoption As part of this assignment, the WBG team is undertaking a survey and analysis (primary and secondary) of the emerging RegTech and SupTech market and players in India. The objective is to provide stakeholders in India with an overview of: (i) Level of adoption of RegTech by the entities and areas where Regtech has been adopted for efficiency and risks associated with it; (ii) Identification of pain points, challenges and risks for Regtech adoption & development of RegTech tools, including regulatory hurdles and expectations from financial sector regulators; (iii) Use cases for Regulatory authorities and challenges for authorities to adopt them; (iv) Creating of a roadmap for encouraging Regtech adoption and promote growth, along with identification of role of SupTech and existing SupTech use-cases (v) Recommending a framework for assessing and prioritizing the application of such technologies by relevant authorities in India. Eligibility restrictions apply: Given the scope of the study, the Consultant (Firm) requires multi-disciplinary skills, to include: Over 8-10 + years of relevant work experience Practical experience in and understanding of supervisory, compliance and regulatory requirements, operations and systems, including RegTech / SupTech Industry Practical experience and knowledge of the regulatory, legal and supervisory systems for financial services in India Strong Research and statistical skills Documentation, reporting and presentation skills Geographic presence and the potential to conduct in-person interviews where/when possible.
