(NS-1) Fabrication of all types of Welded Plate Girders (Plate girders, Composite Plate Girders & Fish Bellied Girder etc.) and other similar I components of any Welded Open Web Girder with structural steel supplied by Railway as per approved QAP and drawings conforming to IRS-B1- 2001 and other relevant codes and specifications at Engg. Workshop, Kaligaon, Sabarmati by RDSO approved vendors only. The item includes fabrication of all types of battens, bracings, ties, stiffeners, packing, diaphragms, shop welding, bolts, drifts, SAW, templates, jigs, fixtures, machinery, equipments, tools and plants accessories, skilled, unskilled labour and transporting various components from fabrication shop to site including loading & unloading. Railway will provide Raw material i.e. MS plates, angles, channels & HSFG Bolts for shop bolting of girder free of cost required for fabrication of Girder components only to the contractor. Railway will provide electricity for execution of above work for which necessary consumption charges on actual basis will be deducted as per Railways policy.(Augmentation charges and security deposit etc. for Electric connection as applicable will be paid by contractor).
