Item Description: Dynamic Cone Penetrometers (DCP) provide quick field determinations of soil shear strengths at
depths up to 6ft (1.8m), with optional extensions.
DCP apparatus should have the following specifications
• Single-mass 8kg (17.6lb) structural steel hammer is standard
• 2" depth rings are marked on the 37.75in (95.9cm) Drive Rod.
• Cones should have a maximum diameter of 0.790in (20.1mm) tapering at a 60° angle to a
point.
• 2 no.s of Cones, Adapters, and additional Hardened Points.
• Field carrying case.
• Any other accessories for ready to use
