Item Description: Carryout overhauling of derrick winch. . Work also involves following;- (i) opening of gear box. (ii) checking of Bearings (b) Dismantle, clean, guage, overhaul and refit sections of winches viz., namely brake assembly, clutch assembly, gear assembly. (c) winch to be removed to shop floor, dismantled, clean and guage. (d) Work involves:- (i) Removal of reduction gear box, Manual Operation unit and removal of wire rope drum (ii) check the spooling gear (iii) Undertake repairs as per inspection report (e) Refitment of all components. Cleaning and flush through the oil tank, renew the inspection eye Conduct trials and prove to ship staff of both Derrick Winch.upto optimum performance. Rated pull on rope drum - 2Tons @ 30Mtr/min, Slack rope @ 60Mtr/min.
