BOQ Item Description: Extra over Item 37 above for using Ready Mixed Concrete (RMC) manufactured in fully automated batching plant and transported to site of work in transit mixer for all leads, having continuous agitator mixer including pumping of concrete from transit mixer to site of laying. Concrete of M30 Grade with minimum cement content of 350 kg/cum (Note The Bidder has to quote only extra cost above the item 37 in the line item of 39, For Example- if the cost of item 37 i.e normal mix is Rs. 3000 and Cost of RMC mix is Rs.3500 then the bidder has to quote only the extra cost amount i.e Rs.500 (3500-3000) in the line item 39 of the price part) (Another Note-2 for Item nos. 23, 24, 25 and 26 (i) Excess cement, if required in design mix, with respect to the minimum cement content mentioned above, shall be paid under respective item. (ii) Cost of shuttering and reinforcement shall be paid through respective items.(iii) Rendering of treatment at construction joint shall be carried out under supervision of manufacturer, cost of which shall be included in rate of these items. (iv) Design of pipe support foundations, High mast foundations, miscellaneous pump foundations, Transformer and other equipment foundations shall be under scope of the Contractor. (v) Contractor shall prepare design drawings and bar bending schedules for all RCC structures and submit the same to UCIL for approval.
