BOQ Item Description: Supplying, transporting and laying 1500 micron thick High Density Polyethelene (HDPE) sheet (textured on both sides) as lining over sand cushion layer on upstream side of dam, laid in position by qualified and skilled Installer certified by the Manufacturer and approved by the Engineer-in-Charge, with all lead and lift including sealing of joints (hot wedge single and dual track seaming and / or extrusion fillet seaming method or any other specialized method e.g. robotic two stitch welding etc.) of new sheets and sealing of new lining sheet with existing lining sheet with an overlap of approximately 1.0m, anchoring the new lining sheet on top of new embankment, maintaining quality control, conducting tests as per requirement of the specification, all complete as per drawing, provisions of Specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. Note Payment shall be made for the actual area of coverage of HDPE lining sheet. Overlapping area, wastage etc. shall not be payable.
