Contract shall be awarded to the eligible bidder quoting highest bid amount toward payment of Land Lease charge to the Railways. a) The quoted leased charge by bidder/Tenderer will be escalated @ 6% (six percentage) per annum at the start of each financial year accordingly successful tenderer/bidder shall pay the lease charge. b) In case of any upward change in Market Value of Land by more than 6%, the additional escalation over and above the 6% will also be applicable for upward change in Lease Charge. This upward change in lease charge will be effective from the date of change/notified.
