BOQ Item Description: Consultancy for structural design and drg for rehabilitation of old changing room and filtration bldg, Area between swimming pool and filtration plant based on the survey carried out at site and as per the following scope of work and tests at site. (a) Rebound Hammer Test - For the estimated compressive strength of concrete and surface hardness as per IS 13311 (Part-2 2) 1992, ASTM C 805-02, BS 6089 - 1981 and BS 1881 - Part 305 0 202, BSEN - 13791, also establishing chart between rebound hammer and other confirmatory tests for estimated in-situ strength of concrete if required - 50 Nos (b) Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity Test - for ascertaining the quality of concrete, soundness and density of concrete as per IS 13311 (Part-1)-1992, ASTM - C597-83, BS 6089 - 1981 - Part 203 and BSEN - 13791 - 50 Nos (c) Half Cell Potential Test - Measuring readings with wheel electrode at the nodes of pre-marked grid points on concrete surface in a suitable grid for determining the probability of corrosion activity of embedded steel reinforcement in concrete in accordance with ASTM C876-1980. The rate shall include surface preparation, moistening concrete surface, Measuring the half-cell surface potentials at selected locations on RCC members of the structures covered under the study to understand the extent of reinforcement corrosion and contour Mapping, Plotting the half-cell potential readings in graphical presentation with potential contours plotted in terms of probable risk of corrosion of steel bar as per ASTM C876 (6) - 1991 - 40 Nos (d) RCC details by using ferro scanner for measuring the cover depth and existing protecting layer of steel rebar and number of rebar, Preparation of Strl details of RCC sections - 20 Nos (e) Carbonation (to check alkanet of concrete) as per relevant BS 5328, ACI 201.2R-92 and ACI 318-99, IS 456 - 2000, BS 8110 - 10 Nos (f) Seismic Analysis of existing structure with ref to load and intensity of earthquake for Zone- III.
