BOQ Item Description: Chair Writing Steel Overall size shall be 535mm long at front measured near bottom of legs. The width shall be 470mm and height shall be 890mm. Legs shall be of 19mm square tube of mild steel with wall thickness as 1.6mm. Front two legs shall be 685mm high from bottom of legs up to bottom of wooden arm rest. Rear legs shall be 685mm high from bottom of legs up to bottom of legs up to bottom of wooden arm rest. The front and rear legs shall lbe joined by stiffeners of 19mm square mild steel tube of 1.6mm wall thickness at 685mm height (below the wooden arm rest ) and another at 420mm high from bottom of legs. The front legs and rear shall be joined by 19mm square mild steel tube of 1.6mm wall thickness stiffeners at420mm high from bottom of legs. 13mm square mild steel tube of wall thiuckness 1.6mm stiffeners shall be provided at bottom in sides and in front 100mm high from bottom of legs. Two small pieces of 19mm square mild steel tube of wall thickness 1.6mm shall be welded to the top of rear legs in slanging portion slanting 10mm horizontally in 190mm height. The slanting pleces shall be 180mm. 12mm thick particle bd commercial shall be fixed over the slanting height of back rest. The back rest shall be 470mmx180mm 50mm thick 32 density synthetic foam covered with leatherised Rexena shall be fixed irrespective of what is shown on drawing and specified in notes. 60mmx25mm in section 425mm teak wood arm rest shall be provided as shown on drawing. Hard rubber PVC shoes shall be provided to bottom of all legs. all steel surfaces exposed to view when placed in position shall be painted with two coats of enamel paint over a coat of primer after preparation o surfaces as directed by Engineer-in-chage. paintiing shall be done with spray machine. All wood surfaces exposed to view when placed in position shall be French polished with high gloss finish.
