BOQ Item Description: Chair CB Steel with arms. Overall size shall be 535mm wide, 560mm deep and 900mm high. Seat shall be 455mm high from floor. Conduit pipe used for frame shall be 25mm dia mild steel tubing having wall thickness 1.6mm Welding of frame where required shall be as directed by GE and in running welding grinded to give smooth surface.The seat and back frame of the chair shall be made up of quality teak wood in natural polish with polythene cane in godrej pattern confirming to IS-5378 94(Type-I) of durable quality .The wooden seat frame shall be further supported by steel strips measuring 19mm x 3mm at the front and the rear and each strip shall be welded to ERW frame.The seat and back shall be fixed by providing suitable nut bolts and washers..The arms shall be of PPCP material in lieu of teak wood and shall be fixed with screws from beneath. Weaving in teak wood seat and back shall be done with plastic cane in godrej pattern. Cane shall be 2mm wide and 0.4mm thick, Gola type weighing not less than 6 gms/10 RM..Bottom of legs shall have hard rubber shoes. All iron surfaces exposed to direct view shall be stove enamelled painted with two coats of enamel grey paint over a coat of primer after preparation of steel surfaces. Painting shall be done with spray machine to achieve smooth surfaces. Drg No FD 75 (M)
