Carrying out Ultrasonic testing of Flash Butt Welds (FBW) under traffic conditions on all types of rails using contractor's own RDSO approved Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) Weld Tester as per Indian Railway Procedure Order for testing of Flash Butt Welding joints by Phased Array Ultrasonic Weld tester, read with latest correction slips, with contractor's own machines and operators, Indian Railway Manual for Flash Butt Welding of rail (Reprint-April 2022) read with latest correction slips, Indian Railway Manuel for Ultrasonic Testing of Rails /Welds-2022 read with latest correction slips and Specifications for Ultrasonic Testing of Rails /Welds 2020 IR T-53) and Comprehensive Guidelines of USFD etc. Testing should be capable of detecting flaws at different angles varying from 36 to 76 degrees, complete scanning (head, web and foot) of FB weld joint by recording of all the test data / parameter required along with test A-Scan, B-Scan, C-Scan and S-Scan for analysis, displayed in Electronic unit/PC unit and classification of weld defect including rail surface preparation for PAUT Tasting compete as per the latest guidelines issued by RB/RDSO including submission of report in hard and soft copies, deploying trained operators, analysis of data, consumables, transportation, labour, inspection and test check by Railway officials, incidental charges etc. in complete, as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. The rate includes all type of taxes, levies, royalties etc. and is also inclusive of the incidental charges like labour, fuel, plant & machines, transportation, shifting of machineries, loading, unloading required for completion of the work in all respect as per specification.
