Carrying out through USFD testing of running rails and welds (excluding flange testing) including level crossings, lead portion of points and crossings and scabbed rail testing of all types of Rails by NBC (Need based concept) method under traffic conditions as per provisions of IR's USFD manual and specifications for Ultrasonic Testing of Rails and Welds with latest correction slips and related instructions, duly marking defects, submission of daily reports and storing back up data as specified and directed with Contractor's USFD machine. The SRT/DRT machine should have minimum of 9 probes (including 37 degree forward/backward probe) with B-scan facility for detecting bolt hole cracks for period of Twelve months from Km 0/819 to Km 378/100 in Ratnagiri Region of Konkan Railway (Computer No. 64184) (Rate quoted shall be excluding GST. GST will be payable as applicable).
Carrying out through Ultrasonic testing of rails including gauge face corner defects & USFD testing of welds (excluding flange testing) with RDSO approved contractor's own B-scan machines equipped with 9 channels SRT/DRT with two extra 37 degree probes, operators, all materials, tools and plants, consumables, spare equipments including pre and post work as per the directives of Engineer-in- Charge or his authorised representatives. The rate inclusive of other incidental charges like labour, fuel, plant & machinery, transportation, shifting of machinery, loading, unloading required for completion of the work as per specification and reporting the same as per Indian Railway Standard Specification for Ultrasonic Testing of Rails/Welds, Revised 2020 read with latest correction slips, Comprehensive instructions of USFD testing of Rails and Welds on outsourcing and Manual for Ultrasonic testing of rails and welds (Revised 2022) read with latest correction slips.
