Box type Welding Goggles confirming to IS :1179 -1967, Amendment 2, 06/2008 with opaque fram e, dull interior, low reflecting finish, flared edges which are in contact with face and no irregularities and roughness on the surface to avoid discomfort, ventilated interior of goggles, ventilation openings shall be baffled to prevent p assage of intense stray light. The goggles shall consist of frame, blue lens and adjustable head band to retain the goggles in front of eyes. The lens retaining mounting shall accommodate filter lens, filter cover end and in betwee n a gasket of fiber or other durable material approx 0.25 mm thick such that it will not restrict field of vision. The material of goggles shall be as per Clause 5 & Impact Test of lens as per Appendix D of IS:1179 (1967). [ Warra nty Period: 30 Months after the date of delivery ]
