BOQ Item Description: Overall size shall be 840mm long 310mm wide and 1675mm high. Back sides top bottom and shelves shall be of mild steel sheet 1.25mm thick. Bottom 120mm high portion shall have 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet as extra piece welded to bottom sheet of 1.25mm thick. The gap on both sides shall be covered with 10mm wide 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet of 120mm high the book case shall have four equal compartments. Channels of 1mm thick mild steel sheet shall be provided on top sides of front glass shutter for holding the wheel. Another channel of 30mm and of 1.25mm mild steel sheet shall be made and fitted to front shutters for forming as guide rail which moves over channel of 25mm of 1mm mild steel track in such a way that when shutter shall open it slides in side the back shelf. 65mm wide 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet frame shall be provided al-round the front glass of each compartment. 3mm thick glass pane shall be fixed to the front shelves of each compartment. 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet 280mm long shall be provided at top and bottom of each glass shutters of each comartment. Two steel chromium plated handles 100mm long and a four lever brass lock of 50mm shall be provided to each shutter of each compartment . All steel surfaces exposed to view when placed in position shall be painted with automotive paint over a coat of primer after preparation of surfaces as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
