BGK-KUD New BG single line Project: Erosion control measures of embankment slopes in Khajjidoni- Lokapur section by providing and laying of Turf Reinforcement Mat (TRM) and Vetiver Grass saplings for bank height more than 5.0 mtr.
Supplying, Providing and laying of turf reinforcement mat (TRM) consists of a dense web of crimped, interlocking, multi lobed polypropylene fibers positioned between two biaxially oriented nets and mechanically bound together by parallel stitching with polypropylene thread having tensile strength of 6.2 x 5.1 kN/m and mass of 373 gms/m2, having no biodegradable components, TRM laid with the overlap of 100mm to the adjacent panel, anchored in the blanketing layer by using anchors rod of 8mm Ø MS of 0.5m length at 1 m centers by making an inward fold of 30 cm in the loose end of the TRM. Securing the TRM on the slope with 8mm Ø MS U-pins 30cm length stapled on the slopes @ 1 pin per 2 square meter of slope area in a staggered manner, including supply and installation of J -pins, Slope profiling, removing weeds, clodes, boulders, roots from slope where ever required, for erosion control of slope surface as per approved technical specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. 1 2 113000.00 Sqm 274.00 30962000.00 AT Par 30962000.00 Rs.
