BOQ Item Description: a Overall size of the Bed shall be 2050x900x500mm
b The framework shall be made of CRCA box sections as under
i Long Rails- 25x65mm box section of 16 guage
ii Short Rails- 25mmx65mm box section of 16guage
iii Frame work of Footboard and Headboard shall
be -18x18mm box section of 16 guage
iv Stiffeners -4Nos each of 25x25mm box section of 16 guage
c Headboard and footboard shall be made out of 18 mm thick Pre laminated Particle Board both side Teak finish laminated BWR exterior grade conforming to IS 12823 screwed to 18mm thick MS strip all as per details shown on drg.
d Head rest and foot rest is to be supported by 65mmx25mm MS rectangular pipe of 18 guage all other MS square pipe shall be of 25mmx25mm of 18guage.
e The Main frame work of Foot Board and Head board shall be alongwith legs shall be made out of CRCA box section of 38mmx38mm with 16 guage.
f Top of the bed shall be provided with 12mm thick plywood BWR grade conforming to IS-303
g Hard rubber shoes to be provided to each legs
h All CRCA/MS members shall be pre treated with epoxy polyester powder coating Black 70 microns by 7 tank process and Oven Dried internally & externally with the following specifications
i Dry Film thickness more than 45 microns
ii Salt Spray test to with stand more than 1000Hours
iii Adhesion as per DIN 53152 standards.
iv Pencil scratch hardness more than 2H
g All other items, fittings and fixtures shall be as shown on drawings and as directed by GE.
h Mattress as shown in the drg is outside the scope of this contract.
