BOQ Item Description: Earth work in back-filling including watering, ramming and compaction at all elevation around pipe support foundations, drain trenches etc. as per specifications and drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge with selected soils obtained from stacks under Item no. 6 above for any lead within acquired area of tailing pond and dam. (Filling shall be done in layers not exceeding 250 mm in loose thickness and watered as necessary. Each layer of filling to be compacted to acheive a dry density of not less than 95% of the Proctor density).
