Auction Detail: The permanent campus of NIT Sikkim is being developed at DungDung Khamdong Gangtok District Sikkim and trees and poles have been felled at the site with the approval of the Forest Department, Govt of Sikkim. The felled logs have been stacked and are to be auctioned to the H1 bidder. The logs have been classfied as Firewood logs and mixed timber as per the applicable rules and reglations of the Governemnt of Sikkim. Details of Trees and Logs : Sl No Category Qty Remarks 1 Mixed Logs 4100 cft Mixed trees of local nature of maximum length 8 ft and girth size 1.5-6 ft 2 Firewood 4100 cft considered as piles of 5*5 ft piles of mixed variety firewood. The Sikkim Goveernment Gazette No 249 dated 13 oct 2020 is the guidng document for valuaion and regulation of rates and quantity. The EMD is to be paid in the following bank account : : Ac Name Director NIT Sikkim Bank State Bank of India Ravangla SBIN007218 Ac No 31996269106 The trees are to be removed from the site immediately by the successful bidder and the same must be done within 15 days of the successful auction. No charges shall be paid by the autioneer on any account such as transporatation/government fees/felling charges/sawing charges etc. All responsibility of transportation etc shall be of the succeddful bidder. The Institute has prior permission for felling and auction of the trees from the Forest Department Govt of Sikkim and all charges and fees for the same have been paid by NIT Sikkim.
